Admin and Students Warned of Staph Infection

Following the recent outbreak of a drug-resistant staph infection across the country, the Department of Education (DOE) and the Stuyvesant health and physical education department each informed the school about the possible danger and advised students to wash their hands and avoid sharing personal items.

Violence Continues Outside School

Three youths assaulted Stuyvesant freshmen Keiji Drysdale and Ming Li in Battery Park on Friday, October 26 at approximately 1:20 p.m.

Glass Boxes to be Photographed in Revival of Mnemonics Project

The glass boxes located throughout the school will be photographed in a joint effort by artists Kristin Jones and Andrew Ginzel, photography teacher Jan Juracek and the Stuyvesant High School Alumni Association (SHSAA) to revive interest in the artists’ Mnemonics Project, which originally brought the boxes to Stuyvesant High School.
