Patroons Up in Arms Over PSAL Ruling

The Patroons’ season ended on a bittersweet note this year—they won their last game of the season against uptown rival Hunter College High School, but failed to make it to the playoffs due to a committee of the PSAL denying their appeal for a playoff berth. Spirits were high as the players left Riverbank State Park after defeating Hunter, 1-0, in a hard-fought game in which all of Stuy’s players made an outstanding effort that showed the Patroons to be a high-performance team that can “produce“ in a tight spot.
